My goodness…my mouth is watering already and I haven’t even started writing! Thanksgiving dinner is absolutely one of my favorite meals. I love finding new recipes. From the stuffing to the yams and the cranberry sauce and of course the turkey! Ugh, why can’t we make these foods everyday? Thanksgiving is such an enjoyable holiday with no pressure of giving gifts or high expectations. It’s just all about spending time with family.
As I have gotten older, I have become more and more obsessed with cooking. I love baking as well but cooking definitely makes me happier. Trying new recipes and adding them to my book as literally turned into a hobby of mine. It is so fun to try new and different things that taste absolutely amazing. I have found a few recipes on Pinterest…go figure…let’s not get into my obsession, I already know it’s unhealthy.
This Honey Roasted Butternut Squash with Cranberries and Feta from Peas and Crayons looks absolutely delicious. I love the touch of cranberries and feta as I would have never thought of to put all of these ingredients together. It looks so festive too!
Spinach is easily one of my favorite things to eat and creamed spinach…um yes please! The Cream Spinach Gratin by Ezra Pound Cake looks so yummy and I cannot wait to make this for Thanksgiving! Easily what I am most excited about!

My goodness, one of my sugar weaknesses is definitely anything to do with warm cinnamon apples…this Slow Cooker Apple Spice Cake recipe by Tasty is incredibly easy and effortless! Plus, my obsession with the crockpot is very unhealthy at this point! I remember getting mad at my mom when I was younger for always using it…well mom I must say how sorry I am since I use it at least twice a week! I learned all the great ideas from you 🙂 I cannot wait to add a little vanilla ice cream to this one! It might be the cheaters way rather than from scratch but I can use all the help I can get when making so many other dishes!
It was so hard to decide on just a few recipes for Thanksgiving dinner! I almost felt like telling my family I will take care of all sides and desserts just so I can use all those yummy recipes on Pinterest! I cannot wait to eat all the delicious food next week.
