One of the most difficult things for me to remember to do throughout the day is drink enough water! Sometimes I will be really great at it and drink a gallon a day but others I will literally go with maybe drinking 1-2 glasses 😐 It is such an important thing to remember though because it affects our skin, mind, and the way our body functions.
So, making different flavored water is a great alternative! I specifically love lemon and mint water with a few limes added in as well. I’m totally obsessed with anything mint so it is the perfect balance of a refreshing and tart drink. Another one of my favorites is watermelon mint water! 🙂
This is a great drink to sip on right when you wake up because it helps hydrate you after a long sleep and the lemon gets rid of all the toxins as well as helps kickstart your metabolism to wake your body up. It is also a great substitute for sugary juices!
You should definitely give it a try if you haven’t already! It is really cheap and easy! Just cut up some lemons and limes with a full container of mint add water and let it sit for a while! You could probably add some vodka or white wine to this to make it a little summertime cocktail as well 😉 A mason jar is the perfect glass for this fun drink 😍
