Hey guys! It’s been a few days since I have been able to be on my laptop! I wanted to post this earlier in the week but my puppy totally chewed up my charger so I didn’t have a chance to get a new one until today! So, I am finally back on the internet! Today, I want to tell you about my healthy eating lifestyle. The most annoying thing ever is when I tell people that I have a healthy eating diet and they generally respond with “you’re already skinny” or “you shouldn’t care about that.” It literally drives me insane because healthy eating to me is something that is so important and useful from the way that I feel on the inside to the way that my body, muscles, and mind respond when I am eating right. Of course when I work out I use supplements like pre workout, fat burner, toner, and protein but the meals throughout the day are just as important as the supplements and gym sessions. I know it seems fairly boring to eat the same thing everyday but it really isn’t that bad! I can swap a few things here and there to make it better! If you end up wanting to try this; just know that the first couple of days you will feel more hungry than normal but it will stop after a few days and drink tons of water! It’s all about commitment and the results are really worth it! I feel so much happier, awake, energized, and healthier when keeping up with these habits! Of course it isn’t bad to have 1-2 cheat meals a week to fulfill your cravings and if you have an off day just jump back on the train the next morning!
Breakfast; Meal 1: I usually wake up somewhere between 8-9 in the morning so I will generally start out with 3-4 eggs scrambled with salt and pepper and toast with strawberry jelly!
Snack; Meal 2: My second meal of the day is generally a protein shake around 11am. I usually make it with either rocky road or cookies and cream protein powder, peanut butter, milk, ice, and egg whites.
Lunch; Meal 3: Lunch time seems to pretty much stay the same for me everyday! My boyfriend usually makes chicken for his dinner (he has the same eating habits just a couple different items). So we cut up that chicken and put it on a salad. In the picture here we had a BBQ salad.
Snack; Meal 4: Usually if I am hungry in between lunch and dinner I will grab a quick snack and I love the ones pictured! Especially the wasabi ranch snapeas!
Dinner; Meal 5: I am not super crazy about meat so when it comes to dinner I generally just make tofu and sushi rice with some spicy mayo! The tofu is sautéed in either sweet and sour sauce or teriyaki!
For me it isn’t about the calories or about numbers at all really it’s just about making the right choices and using healthier options.
